Feldberg and others pros launch initiative to help tournaments and volunteers

McBeth and Jenkins win at Memorial Championships in Arizona

Jeez, some amazingly low scores over the weekend. There were four 1100+ rounds, from Feldberg, Schusterick and McBeth.

Congratulations to Paul McBeth and Valarie Jenkins for winning Mens and Womens Open division.

McBeth and Feldberg on fire in Arizona

Many of the world’s top players are currently competing at the Memorial Championships presented by Discraft in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After two rounds, leading the mens open division is Paul McBeth, one shot ahead of Dave Feldberg. Incredibly, both players shot 1100+ rated rounds. Near perfect golf.

The womens open div is also tight within Val Jenkins holding a slim lead.

Live action is being streamed over the web by www.discgolfplanet.tv

I was watching the lead group this morning, the stream was good and the putts just kept dropping.

12 time World Champion Ken Climo popped into the commentary box for a short time and spoke about the recent arrival of his baby daughter. Congratulations Champ.

The tournament continues tomorrow, follow the live scoring at PDGA.com

Check out the live streaming too.

Queensland resident Rick Kapalko is competing in the Grandmaster division. C’mon Rick!
